Today. Was. Awesome.

Let me tell you why today was awesome. First, the kids got to school on time and early even. Then, I went to the accountant to get the taxes going and we are getting money back. Not much, but at least I don't have to pay, right?

Then I went to the car dealership to get an armrest bolted back on to one of the seats. While I was sitting at the dealership, the kids' dentist office called to remind me about John's appointment on Thursday. After we joked and laughed and laughed, I say, "See you, Thursday." and Janet says, "Okay, see you, love you, bye!" Janet is the dentist's wife and she loves me. How great is that? I think she would love me anyway, just because I pay a crap load of money to that place...but she actually said, "love you, bye." sigh.

After that, Cory from the Volkswagen dealership said, "Let's go see your car." I said, "Wait, don't I have to pay, I thought it was $35.00?" He said, "No, we took care of it for you, because you have spent enough money here." Roughly $5000.00, but who is counting. AND not only that, but they washed my car too. What?

I said, "Does somebody need cookies?" He said that Starbucks works too. Tears of joy. First, I get money back from taxes, then the dentist's wife loves me and now this. sigh.

Then I went and saw my Megan at her work. She works right by that dealership. We talked and laughed and talked and laughed and annoyed people she works with, probably. That was fun.......... Sigh.

After that, I took myself to lunch and Costa Vida. That was awesome.

Then I got all my grocery shopping done. That was awesome.

The kids didn't fight with each other in the car or when they got home. That was awesome.

John did freak out when I tried to give him a bath. That part, not so awesome. Come to find out that he wanted his tattoo on for one more day. So, we had to dip his hand in the water. He tried to convince me that if he did that the water would travel up to his tattoo and wash it off. I told him that someday I was going to say to him, "Remember that time that you wouldn't wash your arm because you thought your tattoo would fall off and then you wouldn't dip your hand in the water because you thought the water would travel up your arm and you freaked out about it?" I liked thinking about that, so that was awesome.

Then the girls and I watched American Idol. How is that not awesome?

So there you have it. Completely. Awesome. Day.

Awesome!!! Well all these wonderful things happen to you because you're blonde. Blondes have more fun. But I wouldn't know anything about that anymore.

But really...the best part was when you came to my work. I think you should be there everyday! You make my day go faster :)

p.s. why would you EVER eat at costa vida when Cafe Rio just so close!

What an amazing day! I don't think my own mom tells me she loves me... and you have the dentist's wife telling you. Wow- you are lucky. Hope there are more of those days to come for you!
