This is Isabel in 2005. She was just 7 years old and she tried out for the "Wizard of Oz" play presented by the Missoula Children's Theater. She just tried out and she got the part of an evil magic flower. After this play and for the last five years, Isabel has tried out for just about every local play out there. Sadly, she has never gotten a part. She has endured rejection after rejection. But, she was determined, kept her head high (as high as she could) and kept trying out. She recently tried out for her school play "Annie" and she was going for some big parts like Annie, Miss Hanagan, Grace and some others to no avail. Then she set her sights on a smaller part, practiced her New York accent, watched the movie "Annie", studied the part she wanted, talked to some teachers and told them about her interest in the part and even wrote on her audition paper about how she LOVES following directions. What do you know? She got the part. Isabel will be playing Miss Lily St. Regis (Rooster's girlfriend) in her school play. 
We are so proud of her. She has worked a long time to get in a play and she has never given up. Way to go Isabel!!!

Way to go Isabel!!!! So, does she sing too? I can't wait to see it!!! Sooooo proud of you!
Oh yes, she sings. She also sings all day and all night really loud whenever she is home. I think I may need a bigger house with a separate wing with sound proof walls just for her.
Yay!! Good job Isabel. I wish we lived closer so I could come and watch. You will do fantastic! Can't wait to see your mom's video (I know she will record it!)
