John got super soaked. He cried, but you know, if you are going to play with the big boys then you are gonna get wet.
After that we went to our friend's house for a birthday party. It was fun, but I don't have pictures. So, sad. Then we went to the church field and watched the Parker Fireworks. This is the first time they had them and it was a very nice show. I was worried the boys would be scared, but they liked it a lot.

After that we went to another friend in the ward's house and made s'mores and watched everyone nearly miss everyone else with their fireworks. That was fun and dangerous. We had a nice time. The kids stayed up until 11:00pm and we all slept into 9:00am the next day. That was a rare treat. 4th of July rocks!!!!

That 4th sounds so great. Do you want to write my posts from now on? You are so much more creative with writing than I am, maybe it's just because you're so witty! Ya, I think that is it. My favorite line...'If you are going to play with the big boys, you are going to get wet'. ha ha... good times!
We missed you at the parade in Provo. There were no Forrests, no Donny Osmond, and no fun at the lake afterwards. Looks like you had a great time at your ward party. Our ward really needs to step it up!!!
