itunes purchase

I got a $15 itunes gift card recently and I was having some trouble figuring out what to buy. I finally got a few minutes to sit down and figure what I wanted to buy. Thanks to some of you with playlists on your blogs. Nice. Here is what I came up with. Some of these people I have never heard of before.

Girlfriend (Clean Version, Of course) Avril Lavigne (the girls like to sing along with me to this)
I'm Yours...Jason Mraz (saw that one on Kristy's blog playlist, love it!)
A Public Affair...Jessica Simspon (should I be embarrassed about this purchase? Ever since I saw the video and they were at the rollerskating rink it took me back to 8th grade and I wanted this song. Sue me.)
Paralyzer...Finger Eleven (I know, it's been out awhile)
Whistle for the Choir...The Fratellis (messing around on itunes and found these guys, their songs are pretty catchy)
Bottle It Up ...Sara Bareilles (who doesn't love Sarah?)
Here It Goes Again...Ok Go (I have wanted this since I saw that cool video with the treadmills, freakin' awesome!)
Chelsea Dagger...The Fratellis (see above)
Two Way Monologue ...Sondre Lerche (these guys sang a lot of songs for the movie Dan in Real Life)
Modern Nature...Sondre Lerche
Human Hands ...Sondre Lerche & The Faces Down Quartet
If Everyone Cared ...Nickelback (I love Nickelback, they are cool)
1234...Feist (catchy)
Anyone Else But You ...Michael Cera & Ellen Page (saw this one on Darcy's and Hollie's playlists, also on the soundtrack of Juno)

Here is where I show my age...why the heck to we have to put swear words in music? Some of the music is so pretty and then a big @!%& right there in the middle of the song. Really, it is not cool and it ruins the song. So sad. If I ruled the world there would be no swear words in any music. Rock on!

But I thought you did rule the world?

I don't know that I have even heard of most of those songs or artists! So sue me! (I thought that was funny when you wrote it, so I copied)

I love it when my 5 year old daughter is belting out totallly suggestive songs while grocery shopping. I really need to be selective of the music playing in the car!!! She picks up on the lyrics way too fast. I think you made some good selections. There are a few I have never heard of. I'll have to check them out. I need some new tunes!
