Summer 2011

Here are some fun things we did this summer! Not necessarily in this order....

Lucy made some awesome cupcakes

We played wipeout in our friends backyard in her killer mud pit.

We enjoyed some long lost cousins.

Isabel and Emma went to drama camp together and LOVED every minute of it and never complained once, right girls?

Gary and I ran the Bolder Boulder.  I beat my time from last year by like 6 or 7 minutes.   Always good to get that PR.

We went to Yogurtland with the Forrest cousins and the Fortner cousins.  Yogurland is the bomb!  (It's still cool to say "bomb", isn't it?)

The kids had one last hurrah on the blow up slide.  Unfortunately, the blow up slide died shortly after this use.  It was a good slide.  We are sad.  (I am so glad it's gone...I hated that thing).  We will miss you.  I gave it to some lady off of Craigslist for free.  She is so lucky!

We are proud members of the wildlife museum thanks to groupon or mamapedia or living social...I can't remember.

Isabel went to girls camp.  She is a lover of girls camp.  I think that it's so awesome.  Girl's camp rocks!!

Gary had a birthday...as is tradition...in the summers.

We played with Avery for like two weeks straight.  She is a good baby.

We also got dangerously close to smoke bombs.  We like to live on the edge.  4th of July was the best.  We ended up lighting our own fireworks with a neighbor, then going to the neighbor's friend's house in the neighborhood to watch BIG fireworks.  After that, we went to another neighbor's house to light more fireworks.  It was super awesome and so are neighbors!!
