Ode to our friends in St. George, UT

After recovering from the whole Hollywood experience, we headed for St. George. While we were driving in the warm California weather, wearing shorts and short sleeves in March, we started thinking out loud about how cool it would be to live in summer-like weather all year long. It wasn't until about 12 hours later when we finally arrived in St. George (a trip that should take about 5 hours--people say the traffic in Cali is bad--but HOLY COW!! Is it bad!) we decided that maybe we are okay in Colorado.

The definition of true friends is.... people whom interrupt their very busy schedules and let you, your husband and four kids crash at their house on the way to and from your Disneyland Vacation. Not only that, they set you up in your very own wing of their house where everyone gets a bed, our very own bathroom and says that it is no big deal. They even think it is funny when your kids teach their kids to say, "son of a Nutcracker" which gets their kids in trouble at school. We feel very smart for picking Kori and Russ as friends over 12 years ago because they are awesome. This is one of our very favorite families ever!!! Look how incredibly good looking they are....

The kids had a great time on the tramp.

We really love St. George because we not have only one set of incredibly good looking awesome friends from college, but TWO sets of incredibly good looking awesome friends from college. We also got to spend some time with the Garrett's.

We love St. George...there is never a dull moment when we visit. I think my kids liked all of our friends kids so much that they would move there in a heartbeat just so they could be around the coolest, nicest kids ever. In fact, they said after we left..."We should move here." They do say that every time we leave any part of Utah.

Yay! Fun times! You can come and visit anytime. We already can't wait for you to come in October. I am counting down the days (partly because I am stressed that I have such little time to prepare for the Marathon). Run-a-ton!
