Your Vote Counts...do it for the children!!!
Okay, so here is the skinny...the Friday after Thanksgiving Hollie was super sick, Gary was on call and Ryan had some work to do. So, I (being the preschool teacher and all) decided to do some fun activities with the kids. The kids were in shock and happy because they do not always get all the benefits of mom being a preschool teacher. Sad, but true. So, anywho, after a plethora of activities, we ended with this one... a block building contest. I told them we would take pictures of the buildings and post them on the Internet and have people vote for them. They were very excited and keep asking me if I have done it yet. So, here they are...The Contestants: Isabel, Lucy, Jack, John and Mckenzie (the order of the pics have been mixed up)Please vote for the block building that you like best and we will post the winner. Here they are...
Building #1
Building #2
Building #3
Building #4
Building # 5Please don't disappoint the children....they need you!! Thank you for your vote. When you are done, get a piece of masking tape and write "I voted" and stick it on your shirt. Thank you and Goodnight!

I vote for #4. It reminds me of the buildings that Eva builds every Sunday out of the hymnals.
So freaking cute Kellie. Shoot. I forgot who I was going to vote for.
I vote for number 3! I like the steps up to the building. Those are my favorite kind of buildings. GO #3!
I like #5. It looks like it's on "the brink" of falling and after going to bed at 2am and having a nursing baby wake up @3:12am, hosting a baby shower for 25, having John out of town and children doing homework at 10pm, I feel like I relate well to #5! GO #5!!!
Can I vote for one and two? I really have no idea who did what. I was asleep in the bathroom.
Thanks you so much for taking care of Mckenzie. It probably wasn't the most relaxing 4 day holiday for you. I'll make it back to you at Christmas and if that doesn't happen then you got Easter!!!! Love ya!
#4
I vote for #1. It is simple, yet it gives people a time away from each other with the 'separate' rooms on the top. Those would be awesome individual offices.
Great job to all of the entries.
Love ya

I like them all, but since i have to vote for only one...i like number 4 because if there was an earthquake it wouldn't fall over as easily as the tall ones. :) I remember Gary doing a family home evening lesson with those blocks!!!
You're a great sister! Wish I had one (a sister). I vote for #3.
I vote #5. With a chimney that size, it must have a killer fireplace inside. I am all about the fireplace right now. I mean honestly we are dropping in the 70's and I am freezing!!!
I vote for #3 I love the arched columns! What a great idea! They're all cute though! Please tell all the contestants they did a wonderful job!
Oh! I'd love to get you that pudding recipe if you want it! It is really yummy although it took me a few times to warm up to it! After all it's warm pudding but we love it! My kids look forward to Sundays so much! Just let me know and I'll email it to you!
Building #3!
I like #1. I like the separate cottages on a firm earthquake proof base and built above ground level in case of flooding--this one was thought out. Great job! everyone. Marsha
We each took a vote
Sam #4
Ben #2
Sue #3

My vote is for #3. It just catches my eye and looks very interesting! How fun for the kids. Can't wait to find out who "wins." Is there a fun prize too?!!
I am voting for #1.
I vote for #4. I don't know why....It just caught my eye! good luck kiddos! But remember you are all winners!!!
