Veteran's Day Assembly

Isabel is in the chior at her school. The school put on a Veteran's Day Assembly that was very touching, I might add.
They sang songs and honored all veterans in the room. Then it was time for Lucy's class to sing a song...poor Lucy...

...she wouldn't look forward. She spent the whole song hanging on to her friend and looking sideways. She doesn't like to draw attention to herself. I am writing all this stuff down, so that she can tell her therapist when she is older.

Hi Kellie! I just thought that i would tell you that i love this post! i love your whole blog! it is amazing! i also have had an experience similar to Lucy's! When i turned 12 i had to be introduced into Young Women's in a "New Beginnings" program. And i got up to be introduced and i instantly turned sideways and blushed the whole time! even today i still have bad blushing problems. So don't feel bad Lucy! Your 13 year old cousin hates drawing attention to myself too!!!!!!

Thanks for that story, Erin. That makes me feel much better because you are awesome and if Lucy is a little bit like you then I am very happy!

Thanks for making a comment and thinking that my ramblings are something worth reading. Isabel gets to go to New Beginnings in Jan. I can't even believe it, not one little bit.
