The other day the boys were playing with their stuffed animals as they like to do. John decides he needs his backpack. He goes and gets it from the basement (preschool) and brings it upstairs. When he opens the backpack I hear, "Oh my Rex! Ohhhhh, ohhhhh! Oh! My sweet Rex!" I love you, Rex!" Then he cuddles and kisses his little brown and white stuffed animal dog that I think use to be Isabel's. He probably hadn't seen his little Rex for about two weeks. It was pretty darn cute.
