(That is chalk all over Jack's head--he just came home from some good ol' fashion boy time, playing in the dirt.)The craziest thing happened tonight...Jack lost his tooth (and by lost, I mean that his mother wiggled, twisted and yanked it out). He is so happy. I would like it to go on record that this was the easiest tooth (especially the easiest first tooth) lost by the last three kids. The crying was minimal and only lasted a few seconds and there was no freaking out and running around the house (so, that was nice). Mainly, Jack is just happy that he lost a tooth before John and most of his friends(okay, we are working on that...parenting is tough). He is also happy that he is as cool as his friend, Nic, that has lost three teeth. John is sad that he doesn't have any loose teeth...he compensates for that by saying that he has three loose teeth. So sad...the trials of being a twin. For me, this just means that my babies are growing up....(sigh).
