Christmas Day

Christmas Day was pretty awesome. John was a little sick that morning which is why he looks so sad in this picture...

I love the pictures we take ever year at the top of the steps. I need to do a post of all our "Top of the Steps" pictures throughout the years. Last year, Jack was a mess because he thought Santa was still in the house, so he kept trying to run out of the picture and go back to bed. Not this year, boy, he was as happy as a clam.

This is me waiting for Gary to come and watch the kids go crazy. I took like ten pictures of the kids and that was getting old and there was nothing else to take pictures of....so....then....

We opened presents....

She was happy.
She was happy.
He was happy.They were happy.

and Eddy, he is pretty much always happy, but this is how we found him. He took all of his toys to his bed and cuddled with them. So sweet.

Then a miracle happened...Lucy and Isabel played each other on their D.S's for hours. It was amazing and I wanted to cry. Christmas IS the time of miracles.

These were from Aunt Hollie and thanks to her we have opened up a whole new world of super heroes. It was awesome. Thanks, Aunt Hollie!! John kept cracking us up with that mask.We had a great day. After, a turkey lunch we headed to the movie theater and watched, "The Christmas Carol". We all really enjoyed it, especially after reading the story together. I am super grateful for my family and love the good times we share together. I am very blessed, if I do say so myself.

These Christmas posts are awesome! I love that picture of the boys in their costumes. I laughed so hard I had tears! What fun traditions you have. You guys are the greatest. We miss you guys!!! I hope Gary really runs the St. George Marathon so we can see you. Russ is going to run it this year too (at least that is the plan now- he hasn't started running yet!)
