Primary Program

Today all the Forrest kids participated in the Ward Primary Program. If you know how terribly shy my kids are (minus Isabel) you would be there right with me when I say, I didn't think they would talk. In fact, a lady in the ward said that she didn't think they would talk. Lucy kept telling Megan, "I am NOT excited, I am NOT excited."

Time came for the kids to go up and they all went. Then the sunbeams got up to say their parts. When the microphone got to Jack and John they turned and they ran away. The last sunbeam said his part, then John decided that he will say his. He gets to the microphone and with a loud strained voice says, "whenIthinkaboutmybody" and runs away. The teacher then gives the microphone to Jack and he says, "Goodbye" and runs off. Really, I am just shocked they said anything. Baby steps.

Lucy got up and read her part like a pro. Isabel was fabulous and one step closer to becoming the superstar she wants to be.

That is FUNNY! I would have paid money to have seen that. I am still laughing about it. I'll bet the congregation was in hysterics. Love the primary program. Good job Jack and John!

I remember those days. For our program this year, the biggest thing I had to worry about is my 11, almost 12 year old thinking he is to cool for this stuff. He was so excited that this was his last primary program. You know how it is when you are the oldest in primary??????

Congrats kids!!

Love ya
