Love Bird Tag
Okay, so my new blogging friend tagged me and I am not always good with these things but, I thought I would try anyway. Jen, someday you will buy me lunch for this.
1. Where did you and your husband meet? ...
I once was told that this was tacky, but it worked for me...I met Gary in the pool at Raintree Apartments in Provo, Utah during a mean game of water basketball.
2. First thing said..
There really wasn't much said, but I could tell that he was thinking, "stop cheating, you are being annoying!".
3. 1st date..
We went on a group date hiking near Pleasant Grove. He told be he was from Africa and I said, "No you are not!" and laughed and laughed.
4. 1st kiss...
Well, he came over one night and he saw on my wall a little competition going on with my roommate and I. She just started dating some one and we had this whiteboard with both of names on it and it said stuff like who held hands first and that kind of thing. Gary said that we better not lose the kissing competition and well, there you go....
5. Long/Short Courtship?....
Short, but in mormon culture, LONG! (I agree with Jen on this one)We met in June, started dating in Oct, got engaged in March and married in June.
6. Where did you get engaged?...
Officially, we got engaged up by Provo Canyon. That is were he "officially" asked me, and gave me this cute little silver ring, before we got the real one. I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to jewelry.
7. Where were you married?
The Chicago, Illinois Temple
8. How did the Reception go?....
It was good. We had one in St. Louis, which was fine until the photographer came into the bathroom and started taking pictures. He creeped me out a little. We also had a pond with dead goldfish floating in it. It was a cool idea anyway. Then we had another recception in Utah complete with bagpipers in Scottish kilts. Now that was pretty cool. Gary's step mom Jackie sang a pretty song. I wish I could remember the name of it. Too bad I didn't have a blog back then. That was also the night that O.J. Simpson was being chased. Well, they should have looked for him in Utah because he totally signed his name in our visitor book. After the reception we went in my friend Denise's car and listened to the rest of the chase.
9. Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Branson, Missouri. Just us and a bunch of old people who love country music. We had this cute little bed and breakfast there. We went to Silver Dollar City, to some cave (that was cool) and a water park. We didn't see any shows though...probably... because we were busy...
10. Who's turn is it next?........
Anyone who wants too.

I didnt even know you had this up! and i check in on you every few days....Its funny how we always know where we were when BREAKING Hollywood news happens! Well, I remember almost exactly what i was doing when i heard about the oj thing, while he was being chased down the freeway.
So, where were you and what were you doing, Jenn?
Actually, I was at work in Provo, at Burlington Coat Factory. I was standing at the edge of my dept (womens sportswear) and the store 'gay' who worked in luxury linens yelled over to me..oh my heck, they are chasing OJ Simpson down the freeway, its on like every channel! he was so informative. And so feminine.
I was at the SLC Airport seeing a high school friend come back from somewhere. We totally watched it on all the TVs around the airport.
OJ was at your wedding!! Well, Forrest Gump was at mine!!
