Congratulations! You're Going to Hollywood!

For Isabel's birthday party (they only get a big bash on even years), she threw an American Idol Party. We made a big Hollywood sign and hung it up by the loft. (I can't believe I didn't get a picture of it.) They also came in the door on a red carpet through the "VIP Entrance".

They had contestant numbers and sang karaoke. One girl sang "Rock On" by Def Leopard and was also very disappointed that most people do not know who sings, "We Will Rock You". "Queen is like the best music group ever, " says a ten year old.

We ate pizza, then cake and ice cream, then opened presents. It was wild and crazy and fun and I am glad , so glad it is over.
