The "Frog" Days of Summer

Last Saturday our dentist threw a big party at his house. He lives near Castle Rock on 35 acres. He has this great nature trail with a stream running through to a pond. That is where all the frogs live. He left little containers by the pond so that the kids could catch frogs. We caught four. Well, we didn't catch them. None of us wanted to touch them, but we got these nice little boys to catch some for us. Isabel's frog is named Hoppy. Lucy 's frog is Spike. Jack's frog is George and John's frog is named Thomas (after the tank engine). We bought some crickets that night and fed them to the frogs. On Tuesday, the frogs got to go to Lucy's and Isabel's classes to see all the kids. Now, today the frogs get to go home. Some of us are excited about that and some of us are not.
