Ocean Journey

We had some fun off track this last go round. We went to Ocean Journey with my friend's Day Care .
That bubble is in a big aquarium where really big fish swim by you. They are so brave.

Lucy was pretty brave. She tried to feed that big sting ray. The sting ray's mouth is like in the middle on the bottom side of them and when they wanted to get your fish, they would get up right to the edge and try to come over the top of that ledge there. It was very scary. And after that whole Crocodile Hunter thing...I just don't love sting rays...you know what I mean.

John was was brave too, only a little braver when the sting rays were on the other side of the pool.

These are spitting fish. The guy would hold the crickets up and the fish would spit at them.
I guess this is how they would get the crickets off the trees in real life. Pretty cool.

This was our favorite exhibit. It is the flash flood demo. The thunder sounds and then you can hear the rain.
Then the flood would come and fill up that clear wall there. I think we sat through this like four or five times.
Whatever makes them happy, is what I say.
Anyway, it was a good time. The kids really liked it ,makes me think I should take them more places, for a minute anyway.

I loved that place! I went there for the first time last summer and I had the best time. I totally wanna go back. The sting rays were the best. Has Hollie been there? We should all go when she comes out to visit :)
